So I've had my Wii U disconnected from the internet since the EUR version leaked, using haxchi to play the EUR version on my NA console. Am I safe to go back online now? I'd assume there would be a bunch of people whining about bans if I wasn't, but I just want to make sure it's fine to play EUR...
Ah, that makes more sense. Kinda surprised all of the consoles are connected to the internet though. Unless they set up a cell phone hotspot and connect the Wii U to it without anyone noticing.
Does anyone have a picture or video of what the Zelda Wii U setups look like? Can you just pop an SD in the console? I'd assume the Wii U would be in some sort of case or enclosure.
Good point. I never really questioned how they were going to rip it, considering the Wii Us will be updated to the latest version. Could they possibly do it with the browser hack?
Oh. Well they still shouldn't be posting about it until it's been attempted. They're just decreasing the chances of success since people who work there could now be warned about this.
The fact that they're publicly posting about it on twitter instead of waiting until it's done/attempted makes me think it's a hoax.
Can't help but keep an eye on this thread though ;)
Pretty sure the only reason it happened with Skyward Sword was because there were in-store demos. I really doubt anyone would be sneaky enough to rip a game from a crowded E3 booth.
Anyone got this working yet? Seems you need to set up your own server.
I suppose it's not much use yet though since AFAIK there is no Wii U Homebrew Launcher.
KTM became completely irrelevant the moment the SysUpdater release was able to properly downgrade. I think the only reason it got hype was because people were confused and thought it was going to be necessary for downgrading.
