Do you have a way of using UDPIH? (The two options are a Raspberry Pi Pico or a moddable Nintendo Switch). You should be able to get into wupserver there, and transfer Japanese files back to the console from your computer to get it to boot. The reason the text was still Japanese before you...- MontyMole98

CleanRip "Unrecovered read error" when dumping MKDD
You're asking for me to get one of those rare disc drives to dump it? I do have other Wiis, and an old PC, the PC's disc reader isn't compatible, and I can't find the other Wii with a working disc drive. Any other ideas? CleanRip "Unrecovered read error" when dumping MKDD
So I'm trying to dump my copy of Mario Kart Double Dash, and CleanRip always gets to around halfway before throwing an unrecovered read error. I currently don't have the heat sink and fan on, and I can't dump the SLC.RAW (assuming that's what I need to dump) before the Wii U shuts down because it's overheating. The reason they're not on right now is because I might snap all the solder wires installing it in the process.- MontyMole98

So I think you misinterpreted the crash logs, those were after I dumped the OTP successfully, and chose the "View crash logs" option to see what was on the Wii U, not issues with defuse/minute. PRSHax wasn't working so I had to dump using the "Dump OTP and SEEPROM" option. And now I have full...- MontyMole98

I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.

because I already got burned out with breath of the wild, which for the most part is essentially the same game, and then again with master mode, which doesn't work as a new game plus (that always felt bizarre to me)
