    Another Unknown pkg1 version error

I bought it from Ali Express so that makes sense 🙃

    Another Unknown pkg1 version error

I know this has been posted before and people have said it typically has to do with outdated Hekate and/or Atmosphere. The thing is, they both should be the latest version. I get my CFW from the HATS pack: And the versions are: Hekate v6.0.5 & Nyx v1.5.4 Atmosphere 1.5.4 The SysMMC works...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Very much appreciate this. I had a creeping feeling this might be the problem, but was trying to cope that it wasn’t 🥲. Is it the black d0 adapter that’s recommended?

Gpio pin? Which one is that? Okay, so it might be this problem then 😬 The previous technician installed the d0 adapter like this (in the picture). When I took it to the new technician, he reconnected everything, but I’m not sure he’s aware the d0 adapter was installed somewhat awkwardly.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Can you guys please take a look at the video and help me decode what the errors are saying? It looks like a D0 problem, but I’m not entirely sure. This feels a bit different from a 2.74 firmware instability issue. It started with being able to glitch after disconnecting the batter for 6...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Have you figured this out or at least found a pattern to the instability? I’m pretty sure I managed to boot my forward back to 2.73. Band things were gravy until I was loading some corrupted cheats on Breeze and got a 2168-0002 error (Atmosphere crashing) then the picofly is not glitching...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

So my technician replaced the pcb board with the new one and it looks just as clean as before if not better. The firmware is still 2.74 and it actually glitches inconsistently still. Currently it seems like it will glitch after disconnected the battery for about 6 hours and reconnecting it then...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

That would truly be unfortunate 🥲. Is there a way to confirm definitively? Otherwise, I do have an extra picofly pcb board. Just that it’s currently flashed with 2.74 and my understanding is that firmware version is unstable.

I’ll see if I can get a video but my technician said either RST or D0.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I happen to find another technician who can do micro-soldering. He wasn’t experienced with switches but like you guys, he chuckled at the work the previous guy did when I asked if he can clean it up . Looks like he really cleaned it up, what do you guys think? It now glitches! Edit: Apparently...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

He was one of the few technicians I called that had micro soldering experience/equipments. If you happen to know someone in PA or within the states, would love to get a referral :)

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Alright fellas, thanks for your inputs. I didn’t listen to some of your guys advice because I went back to my modder with the switch and it worked for a good minute. But when I went back home and fiddled around, it kinda crashed and rebooted back to OFW. I opened it up, and the error codes gave...

I suppose as long as it’s salvageable. Should I also ask him to put the resistors flat on the board instead of it hanging out like that? So things wrong with this install I should ask to fix: - Long wires - Flux on the points - Kapton tape underneath the resistors?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I paid $70 haha, he’s never done it before but had micro-soldering experience. How about the resistors? Aren’t they awkwardly placed? I see people place them flat on the board, but it looks like he has them kinda hanging on the side.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Okay so you’re right, I opened up my switch and it looks like there’s a lost connection to the RST and potentially D0. Should I ask my modded to re-do the whole thing? The way he attached the resistors look different from how everyone does it.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

update: it's now 2.73 from the pico box menu, and nope, it's back to being inconsistently glitching. whenever it's not glitching it would be =* (inferring it's a Dat0 connection issue) but it's weird because when i checked with my multimeter, it's showing connection @.@

Lucked out, and managed to boot it to hekate and rolled back to 2.73. Now seems to consistently glitch the cpu 🤞

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I can’t launch hekate because the picofly is currently not glitching 😓 Sometimes it glitches and launches hekate but it’s inconsistent. Let me try it when I can. But any other way without installing another picofly? @.@

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

With the rollback to 2.73, how do I rollback from 2.74 to 2.73? I removed the usb-c port on my rp2040... i'm having issues with 2.74 firmware, glitch was working fine for about a week after install of picofly but now it just boots to OFW. sometimes it awkwardly glitches, but im not sure...

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Wish they would let us play the NCAA football 14 on newer xbox, its one of the only games I love and own on disc still, that is not back compatible, bs.

@BigOnYa My dad recently bought a spare Series X off of me, got game pass, and saw Madden '24 on Game Pass, decided to try it out.

...He was a bit taken aback by the 60GB download size. Poor guy's still living in the 90s!

@K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
