Yep, it's the same as mine

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

As long as it doesn't cause any issue afterwards, I'm fine with that!

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Did that too and it was fine as well. Anyway, the problem went away after a thorough cleaning of the pcb. BUT there's a minor other thing now. Whenever I load something from hekate, be it Sysnand of Emunand, there's a brief vertical green glitch on the screen. Everything else works fine. Should...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Done my new OLED Switch with kamikaze method just now. Everything seems to be working fine but the console feels a bit slow to come out from sleep mode (and also when showing the Switch logo). Can this be related to picofly?

Hardware Switch v1 having problems waking from sleep mode lately

Done my new OLED Switch with kamikaze method just now. Everything seems to be working fine but the console feels a bit slow to come out from sleep mode (and also when showing the Switch logo). Can this be related to picofly? EDIT: Sorry, wrong thread

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hi, if I'm working on a Switch Lite and I want to place the rp2040 on top of the emmc shield, are there any optimal and closer 3.3v and gnd points that I can source from?

Didn't know about that! I'm gonna test it soon

How would you reach the RST point from the front?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

This was a simple advice and yet very effective advice, thank you. Even though I thought I had cleaned the board nice enough, I tried to do more passes with ipa. Now the Switch is not crashing anymore, but it's still showing the charging icon as soon as I attach the battery. Does anyone have an...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Guys I'm having a nightmare with an attempted oled install. I have now removed every wire and mosfet, but as soon as I attach the battery, the charging icon shows up and then I get this artifacts with buzzing sounds. Some times I can make it to the menu, but it still stops working. Any idea on...

Hardware Switch OLED with sound not working from both speakers

Hi, I've got this Switch OLED that sometimes has working sound, but most of the time both speakers will just buzz and headphones won't work. However, bluetooth and docked sound work perfectly. How do I address this issue?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

That's what I feared. I've seen videos where the M92 tests fine but is still faulty, so maybe that's the culprit. Or maybe sole other weird short on the RST line, but that one is testing fine too. I'm pretty confused lol

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hi guys, I did my third kamikaze oled. It was working just fine but now it's not working anymore, after i left it open and unattended for a day. It totally doesn't turn on and even the rp2040 is not turning on. I searched for something wrong along the power rail and the usb port but everything...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Dumb question: can you possibly damage some component on the board with a multimeter?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I finished installing picofly on my OLED, but I'm getting ** RST not connected, while it's definitely there. Also got black screen. After desoldering the rp2040, I can safely boot into ofw, so there's no actual damage. I went kamikaze and with the 3.3v point on the back. I see that sometimes the...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Thank you for all the insight as usual! I might just use that point even though I'm going for a front install. I'm still on the trauma from the previous unlucky experience lol. Hopefully the wire running just a bit longer won't be an issue It's a buck boost, so I doubt it. You should probably...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hi, this pad here is an alternate point for 3.3v on OLED, right? Is there any downside to using it instead of soldering to the capacitor, other than the wire being like 5mm longer? I got kinda unlucky (and too stubborn) on the last OLED and ended up damaging the IC next to the capacitors. So I'd...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

In the end I did both that and a bit of a reflow while shielding most of the other areas with kapton. The issue seems to be gone, but I'm still not pushing my luck and I won't turn it on right away. Now, since that trace where the two 3.3v points are sitting doesn't look the best, would it be a...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Of course I can't have a peaceful install. Soldered the wire back on both capacitors but I ended up getting a VERY sketchy diode mode reading, about only 0.065 of voltage drop, while I had 0.830~ before. That makes me think that I have a short somewhere, but I just can't find it. I made some...
