I've been having fun with Blast Corps.
Time to get movin'!
I'm in love with the Snes though.
(A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, etc.
Don't make me choose.)
I say don't bother with the ED64Plus,
as the authentic Everdrive doesn't cost much more in comparison and with it you get lifetime support from Krikzz.
I recently purchased an Everdrive 64 v2 with a CIC-6102 chip installed along with a case.
(Retrogate's case came with phillips-head screws...
I only listed those two games specifically because I already had saves for them in resource-heavy spots.
It just seems like whenever there are a lot of sprites on the screen at once, this TempGBA4PSP port bogs down more than gpSP-J.
I don't know how well other games compare yet though. D:
I know...
I think that was an older release.
The one I found was from October 2013 (That's what's on the archive's name and file access dates inside anyway) http://www2.axfc.net/uploader/so/3057449
Some games, such as Metroid Zero Mission and Mother 3 (from what I've tried), seem to work better on...
What would I do, eh?
If the bricking code turned out to still be present in the final, I wouldn't be using it until someone successfully patches it (and any other potential uglies) out.
I'm not comfortable with that shitcode running in the background. If and when a comparable alternative to...
Gateway was probably hoping everyone would just believe their "memory corruptions due to flawed copying" line and in turn buy their cart just to stay safe.
(cost of a GW cart vs another compatible 3DS)
Why else would they set it to brick at random as opposed to 100% of the time?
They didn't want...
No one seems too upset about McAfee Anti-Theft coming pre-installed on most Windows laptops, and that comes close. ;o
Back on subject though:
Did the Gateway 3DS team honestly not think anyone would look into the cause of the brickings?
Perhaps their explanation would've gone largely...
Alright. True. Bad choice of words. I should've said, the bricking code did not originate from R4i.
I will also pick at wordplay a little bit here. (No offense ;))
I wouldn't say there's a "right way" to use their files, as the GW team is not bound or protected by any laws, including copyright...
Is rendering random clone users' consoles irreparably bricked something to laugh about though?
The only thing I find funny here is people defending it, and even that is starting to lose its humor... :/
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
