Gaming 1.5 won't update to 3.52 M33 for some reason....

Okay, after doing the pandora battery like I did with my PSP and my cousin's, I got my friend's PSP restored to 1.5. However, for some reason when I try to update his PSP to 3.52 M33, the firmware number stays at 1.50 in the system information. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

you have to move up step by step, or just use the battery to go straight to the wanted firmware. i installed 4.01 offical firmware before using the battery to install the custom version. and i have nver had a problem with it.

afaik u need to be on 3.40 b4 u go higher

This is weird then, since when I rewrote my PSP and my cousins' PSPs to 1.50, I was able to go straight to installing 3.52 M33 on all of them, then eventually M33-4.

EDIT: Btw, I didn't use the battery since I usually revert it back to normal when 1.50 is installed.
