I have a 2nd switch with Atmos.... but I really love xci docked on a hdd ...

Haven't had a black screen since the 0.17 update.

Honestly it's too much work so I've been trying the cleanup method, but keep getting the freaking black screen! Any good tutorial?

You can try the SX Gear payload to chainload Hekate, some people claim it works better.

It's been years since I've payed attention to the Switch, I barely remembered how to update SX OS... how should I do the transition to Atmosphere? I have this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-from-sx-os-to-atmosphere.533337/ but I don't know what applies to me and what doesn't.
I have a super old back up of the NAND (from like... +3 years ago) but I don't even know if it matters or if I should make another one.
Currently sitting on 11.0
Any help? I'm SUPER not savvy with this because I'm afraid of bricking it. I don't care about SX anymore so I'd rather just go full Atmos.

You can see it when he opens the SX OS menu: 3.1.0 - Emunand

Maybe, he only modified emunand to display 11.0.1 but its in fact 11.0.0?

thats possible but would need to be a custom module iirc

That is really easy to do, only need to install the SystemVersion nca of the 11.0.1.
