Yep, it would be awesome for many apps... how about soundboards, typing tutor (blank keys until you hit them), have song lyrics or disco lights scroll across the keyboard while your music is playing, etc... let's see what happens when prices come down, or a competitor uses cheaper components (like a single LCD panel under transparent keys, etc...)
