But if you install cias with fbi, are they still cias?

Or would another way to put it be that games from cia are always safe?
Legit Nintendo signed cias = safe 100%
Not legit Nintendo signed = 50/50 chance of being safe

Hey guys. I installed the .cia file of MHX(translated) with BigBlueMenu in emunand but I can't get it to run. After booting the game, I just get a black screen. .3ds works though. emunand is up to date

I think you have miss-typed your firmware version and it really is 9.2.0-20 <---- totally exploitable.

This will help you to find an exploitable New 3DS:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/n3ds-xl-firmware-by-version-number.381479/

Once you install CFW + emunand in both systems you can make a system transfer between them without updating your systems.

You are correct. It is 9.2.0-20U. So what is the newest firmware version I want to look to be below when looking at new 3ds xl's? I'm going hunting this afternoon. Thanks, Jim.

O3DS. GW4D 10.3.0-28E.

Okay. I discovered something else. When I use my internal 4gb SD Card to boot the .3ds file "Monster Hunter x" on my microsd. It works. It does not work with my other 64gb sd card, which I used for the .cia method, because the 4gb was too small. I can't boot the .3ds(microsd) and the .cia from the 64gb.

Something wrong with the 64 gb sd card?

Uhhhh no, all cias are safe to go online wether they are legit or not.

"Legit cia" means that it has special keys that make them work in any system as long as they are installed, this is because they are from pre-installed bundled games so they aren't tied to an eShop account.

The 50/50 thing came from your imagination.

I guess I have to eventually get one.

A bit more specific, do other users see if I have NNID or not, and are things like friend codes related to it? And thanks for answering all my questions.
1. not exactly . . . but most everyone has at least one some people set a second one up on sysnand
2. yes
3. no problem

I know cias can be modified, what does that have to do with anything said?

Can someow tell me the difference between RX3D and RX-E i know RX-S is rxMode sysNAND.

The build you use.

Some builds use RX-E for emunand and RX-S for sysnand, other builds use RX3D for emunand and the regular "ver. xxx" for sysnand.

Aside from that, there is no difference.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
