Another question, once I've converted all the save files from my old EmuNAND 3DS to my newer CFW 3DS, is it possible to install CFW on that old 3DS that is already running EmuNAND?

after you converted all the saves etc and you are fine with the old system not needing MT-Card anymore

you can look at

since the SysNAND is most likely 4.0-4.5

then you can use the EmuNAND and update it,
or transfer the EmuNAND over your SysNAND then format your SD card without EmuNAND to free up some space etc

No. He must buy DSiWare. There is no such thing as “3DSWare” as it’d be simply “eShop Games”

I still have the same SD Card with all games installed via CIA to the Nintendo 3ds folder.
Can I reinstall the games from this folder without having to install via CIA?

it's very confusing to do the save etc, but it can be done, when you convert the saves with JKSM, they are not encrypted, so you can transfer them to any system, them use JKSM on that system to encrypt them to the new system

in JKSM you choose the first one, it should be Game Card in red on bottom screen

Yes, which I can't. Because the MT Card only works on <4.5 and on EmuNAND, which are on my old system. I'm trying to get the saves on my new CFW system that runs 11.6 and thus cannot use the MT card.

you do it all on your OLD sysmtem

you are SOL then, you cannot do it without access to the MT menu etc, you may be able to find someone with a working Gateway setup to help you, but it's a long and annoying process

Then how is the entire process possible in the first place? Once you install CFW to access JKSM you usually upgrade to 11.5 or 11.6, on which MT nor Gateway work afaik.

So I need to install CFW on my old system? But then I don't think my MT will work either, as it works through EmuNAND.
