Hey guys,
I have a N3DS XL and got some water damage on the touchscreen. Since that sort of thing isn't covered under warranty, my choices are to either pay Nintendo the $80 or 85 they charge... or just order a replacement LCD on AliExpress or similar and ask one of my friends who's good with small parts to put it in for me.
Well, I find "3DS XL" bottom screens for $10+shipping, while the cheapest one marked as *N*3DS is like $25. They look identical to me, but I wanted to be sure.
Is there any actual difference in the bottom screens? I know a lot of N3DS units have the IPS top screens, but the bottom screens are still TN, so I'm assuming it's the same exact LCD. Just want to verify.
Thanks
