Hmmm... is this a timming attack or so ? anyway, it seems like Mathieulh is implying TSEC is not owned but we will always be able to get these keyslots with this technique. Am I wrong ?

They gave up on the Wii and Wii U and the 3DS was ineffective until 2018.

If anything Nintendo were more aggressive at this point of the Wii.

I don't believe there are any guarantees that it will always work. If Nintendo upgrade TSEC in the next firmware then they can make it harder to extract the new key.
