i did it because i wasnt able to do certain online things on my capture system 3ds. ctrhttp wasnt working for things like pokemon alpha sapphire for me, so i went with it because prior to seeing this thread and the lack of people giving me a reason not to, there was nothing to gain by hindering my use of wifi since i still had homebrew access via cubic ninja.

How can I get dsiware if I can't access the eshop on 11.0? I read about httpwn, but does this work on the official 11.0 firmware? I mean, the whole idea is to get dsiware to downgrade your system, why would I be able to use httpwn? Unless httpwn can be used on any firmware, even official ones?

What do you mean by "official firmware"? Lol

If you mean OFW (Original Firm Ware) then yes, it will work, that's how people access the eShop without the newest update. I'm not sure how "Exactly" Httpwn works, but I'm sure you can find documentation about it somewhere online.

Yes, it definitely works on ofw11.0 and 11.1, I used it on both versions. If you want to use it, you have to deinstall Menuhax (if it's installed), otherwise it won't work. Just use browserhax (Which I could still use a week ago idk why) if possible or another entrypoint like steelhax. Go into Homebrew Launcher and start httpwn, wait for it to load and exit. Then in HBL press start and X in order to get back to Home Menu without restarting. If it worked you can now go into eShop and play games online without the newest firmware.
That's what I did and it worked fine, I could buy/download Fieldrunners with httpwn.

How is fieldrunners usless? The game is really great, in fact I've just finished re-completing the entire game today! Does anyone know if the slowhax will make the game unplayable after you intsall because I would rather keep fieldeunners than get CFW. /s
