We’ll be getting a Nintendo Direct this week, the very first one of the year. The Direct will be specifically focused on Pokémon, and will last around 20 minutes. It’ll kick off at 6:30 am PT on January 9th, so be sure to tune in, in order to see what Nintendo has up their sleeves.

Please show us the Sinnoh remakes.
Been waiting for what feels like an eternity.
They have remade gen 1 2x before sinnoh got a remake

Makes you wonder if we're gonna see GSC remade again and sinnoh still left high and dry
Because diamond and pearl are great, and still play great too, no need for a remake.

Personally, I'm not that hyped up - after how Sword/Shield removed over 60% of the content found in Ultra Sun/Moon (Pokemon, moves, Abilities, Mega Evolution, etc.) and how LGPE removed over 80% (Pokemon, moves, Abilities, items, wild battles) and even removed content from FireRed/LeafGreen (VS. Seeker, Sevii Islands), it's highly unlikely the next games will be 'intact'.

Game Freak should move to a two-year schedule, instead of annual; that way, the developers themselves won't be under as much crunch, and the games would have more time for fleshing out, for becoming acceptable, if not great. Especially since the last 'break' year was 2015 - between Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire and Sun/Moon. The Game Freak developers have likely been working nearly non-stop for five years now, which is far longer than any time in the past.

Its pretty sad already when you have ppl supporting the idea of a paid full Dex DLC when a simple patch update could offer that.

They're amazing games and yes they still play fine, I just remember them playing a tad slow (esp. in battles) and want to see my favorite gen in 3D.

Writing this I also now recall the underground, I'd love to see that make a return.
Esp. if you can connect to friends/passerbies over internet.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
lol there's a guy selling mig switch in usa on ebay for $200/ea he's definitely going to get nailed with dmca by tomorrow
  • ZeroT21 @ ZeroT21:
Wasn't Metroid Prime 4 teased all the way back in 2017? For the switch no less?

    for $200? rofl.
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P

The switch was about 350 in 2017
