Phoenix Wright
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
Tales of Innocence(Although I haven't played it yet, the replies say it's addictive)
Mah Jong Quest Expeditions
Harvest Moon (Have five on my DS so I won't name them)
Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Populous DS
Chrono Trigger
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Avalon Code
Spectral Force Genesis
Shepherd's Crossing 2
Monster Rancher (Haven't played yet either, but replies says addictive)

It really depends on your taste in games and what you've already played.

This brought me to 1001 posts, damnit.

Haha, my apologies, I was trying my best not to reach 1,000 then noticed I went to 1,001!
and... that's strike 1,002, ladies and gentlemen... lolz!!!
(peace)

btw, this might be a stretch (coz i don't have definitive proof of it's addictiveness) but wait a few more months for the RPG extravaganza known to handheld gamers simply as Golden Sun.

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania Portrait of Ruin
Casltevania Order of Ecclesia

I ordered mine from Ebay couple days ago for $15-20 each. While I'm waiting when I got them in mail, I'm playing GBA games and I just 100% finished Castlevania Aria of Sorrow.

I officially hate you for reminding me >_>
(Just joking)

Golden Sun may cause a riot later(Due to greatness and boobs in the game) but that's in months from now, I'd want an addictive game now.
If you knew Japanese, there'd be plenty I'd mention.

As for Castlevania games, I wouldn't call them addictive as much as they were short.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift and Disgaea. I also second the Advance Wars series, I am on my second play through on the first one and enjoying it just as much.

Puzzle Quest: CotW. Pick it up, put it down roughly 10 hours later. It's better than Galactrix or Puzzle Quest 2.

EBA is also really addictive, although once you finish it or put it down you may not want to pick it up again. I've gotten through 90% of the game in one swoop, turned it off, and never played it again.

Dragon Quest IX.

I've been playing DQIX for the past 4 days straight and play almost 3+ hours everyday.

It's been a while since I start playing like that.
