I imported the save fine but seems like infinite jump still works can you try pressing jump like multiple times in a row?

Work from home allows me to squeeze in some fun throughout the day. Troubleshooting other people’s stuff gives me use cases to investigate and learn more about Switch and that‘s really my goal (so it’s not completely altruistic as it might seem.)

I’m thinking maybe you backup your save (with every game save editor you have…just to be safe) and then delete the one in game. Then restore from this file. Thoughts? Scary, huh? But I think we’re not overwriting for some reason. I’ve tested the original and had infinite jump and then tested with the mod and it was absolutely removed. Not much else I can try since it’s working as expected on my end.

I need somebody to install Hollow Knight and JKSV and unzip/restore the save file contained in this post:

all you need to do is
a) confirm the progress of the game
b) spam the jump button and see if the player jumps in the air and elevates infinitely or jumps and falls back to earth.

@Cubuss, with @impeeza’s help, I am extremely confident that you can delete your save state in game and restore using JKSV from the file above. This should ensure there are no remnants of infinite jump left on your Switch.

I made a new game first to make sure it didnt have infinite jump and overwrite it with the save data appiricate you

You unzipped the file from here:

and copied the .nro file to /switch/ ?

Hello there, a quick and dirty instructive to remove the Infinte Jump cheat from a saved game:

• Save your game.
• Exit Hollow Knigth.
• Use JKSV or your preffered game save exporter to create a game save backup.
• Connect the switch to your computer, may be via MTP responder of DBI, Hekate's UMS, or FTP.
• Search for the folder where your Game Save is.
• You will find two files:
  • shared.dat & user1.dat
• Use a good text editor (I personally do not use included Windows notepad, trend to mess with things) notepad++ is one of the best, open the file "user1.dat" then search for "infiniteAirJump".
• Change the value "true" by "false".
• Save the file.
• Restore your savegame using JKSV.

I'm trying to download cheats for Triangle Strategy v.1.0.3, but when i select the game the program can't find any cheats, it looks like the build id shown is wrong (the build id shown is 116A8E9D8DE993B7 while the correct should be F7C20294EFF7E6FA)

Uh that's odd, the BID you get isn't even related to the game https://github.com/HamletDuFromage/switch-cheats-db/blob/master/versions/0100CC80140F8000.json
It seems to be a BID for pokemon shield. You can try quitting the app, and relaunching it, maybe even rebooting the console. Maybe there's some weird cache action going on
