Right now I'm not all that interested on Xbox One due to being bundled with Kinect and also the fact that Xbox One's not usable vertically plus it's pretty big like a VCR Player.

The use I'll have for Xbox One will be playing its exclusives and probably watch some Blu-rays but nothing else, as PS4 (PS4 Slim, too) will be for all the rest.

Exclusives are;
1) Killer Instinct
2) Dead Rising 3
3) Ryse: Son of Rome
4) Titanfall
5) Forza Motorsport 5
6) Sunset Overdrive
7) Quantum Break

I am aware that Titanfall is also on Xbox 360 (which I own) and PC but in terms of the best console version it's definitely going to be Xbox One.

I've got a ton of games to play on different consoles so games are something which I have for a lifetime, though I still wanna get this obviously but they can wait until Xbox One Slim is released, which I'd say around 2015/16.

^ I'll be buying a PS4 Slim and Xbox One Slim, not just one or the other. :P

By the time PS4 Slim comes out I'd bet there'll be at least one or two Naughty Dog awesome games so that's a must.

Consoles redesigned for their Slim models always tend to be for the better and the hardware revision is also an improvement.

i always think, what will the NEXT xbox be called? xbox 2?
and then, in so many years later, after xbox 359... will they have xbox 360 again?
why would even even call it 'one'?? it's like calling the next nintendo handheld, after 3ds, 'gameboy'.

Your username makes this thread sound even more stupid. Honestly, embrace the fanboyism that's described in your name. ;) But it will be years before a slim version of this beast comes out.

Am I the only one here that refers to their 3DS as their GameBoy?

Listing the current exclusives is kind of pointless when you're planning on waiting for a slimmed down version of the console. Also, if / when one appears, you still have no guarantee you'll be able to use it vertically. Personally, I'd wait for the first significant price cut, if you're not at all interested in getting the console now. There's no way of telling when a slim model will appear.

Still, I get why people are willing to wait this time around. Previous generations were pushing things forward, while the current generation is simply catching up to PCs, and in a very real way, both PS4 and Xbox One are PCs. The excitement of a graphical leap isn't really there. On the other hand, once things do get rolling, how much fun will it be to play the launch titles?

Xbox One doesn't hold a high position on my list of console priorities, that's for sure, but I'm planning on timing my purchase based on the price rather than a model. Once I see a good deal, I'll probably get it, but PS4 comes first. Heck, I'd get one now if my local stores had the same bundles UK got (Killzone, 2 controllers and a camera).

GBAtemp should be legally obligated to ban them, as its against the law to collect information from users under 13 because of COPPA. :tpi:

Back when Oculus Rift was still starting out and being demoed around, they modded existing games to use it as a 360° immersive screen thing and that was AMAZING.

The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc

The tech to have quality VR goggles at an affordable price is here, but every set has to have 4 additional controllers and be standalone.
