This discovery is great, I’m going to try it on Linux momentarily. Just a question- so, I load the “Lolly” file first on a villager slot, and then I load “Lolly_moving” right after in the same slot? If so, I’ll try this out and report back on how well it works and if the furniture / all that is the same on the Switch I transfer it to. I also have two saves, one with an empty slot and one without, so I’ll see if that matters in any way. By the way, this is a fantastic discovery, thank you so much for sharing!
AnalogMan is correct, I only offer the patch file. You will want to dump your villager file that you want to move, create a copy, and apply my patch to the copy. Then you load the patched file that results from using the patch into NHSE.

I transfered myself Raymond using this method and even though he had the wrong exterior on my hacked Switch, he moved in with the correct exterior on the clean switch. :)

And those codes should work.

Hi, I'm on 1.1.3a. "x32 miles/bells" and "miles don't decrease" are not working. It's crashing the system. Can someone kindly advise on this? Thank you.

So basically what's happening is that cheat codes are naturally in hexadecimal, so you can use the ids as is. And NHSE item count is in decimal (so you have to convert them.)

When I try to produce a recipe this way, the recipe shows up blank in game. Do I have to reverse the hex values when converting? Thank you.

Ok, I have not done it, but it looks like it would need to be done like this.

297 Golden Axe So instead of 02 97, try 97 02

All the recipes are 5794 (now referred to as recipe by the new NHSE), they just count up I think. And the easter recipes are after the gold recipes and many other recipes are before the gold recipes.
upload_2020-3-29_22-12-18-png.201410

292 - Golden Net
293 - Golden Water Can
294 - Golden Shovel
295 - Golden Slingshot
296 - Golden Rod
297 - Golden Axe

Or you can just tick the recipes in NHSE

Flag2 isn't in the latest build anymore?

Regarding NHSE... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'll make two backups for the BCAT and DEV saves... modify one of the DEV saves with NHSE, then I load said file onto the Switch and when I open the game, it'll say the data is corrupted. Then if I try to load up my original DEV save, it says the same thing. Help?

Ok alittle bit of noob, but i am very interested to find out more about this. Could you explain how taking away one address point still makes it work, so is 08100000 a floating point that can replace 04100000 so you don't need the 2nd address point e.g AC3B90C4 for it to work....how does this work?
The '8' in 08100000 seems to specify to the cheat handler the byte-size of the value you're providing. With 04100000 we normally provide 4 bytes of value data, which is why the addresses jump by 4 hex values every iteration -- each address can hold a byte of data. So if you want to specify both item ID and item quantity (as in the examples you're referencing), you carry the item ID up 4 bytes so it's first the first 8 hex digits being represented, then put in the quantity in the next 8 hex digits. Since you're specifying 8 bytes of data, you can start at AC3B90C0 and that is equivalent of giving two 4 byte values for both AC3B90C0 and AC3B90C4.

anyone have cheats like these that work on the update? these ones no longer seem to be working for me.. they're for changing the quantity of the item in slot 1, basically to change furniture colors
Those cheats look correct for changing quantity. Just make sure you've renamed the cheats file to the correct ID for 1.1.3 ( e2d890a4d19fad02.txt ), which can be found in the OP.

Please note, however, that changing quantity will only change one of two dimensions of customizable furniture that has two dimensions. Please see the specifics in my post here for changing the other dimension (you will want a second set of codes -- it would honestly just be easier to cheat in customization kits and do it "legit").

I assume that this is not possible; haven't seen any threads about it...

I know that the quantity of a given item in a specified slot can be changed to its maximum.
e.g.
[Slot1 Item Quantity x10]
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000009

The question is: Is it possible to have a cheat that changes the quantity of the slot in focus (selected) without specifying the slot code (slot1=AC3B90C4 )?
The purpose would be to bind this to a key like L+Up and then just select any slot from the inventory and hit L+Up to set it to 10...
e.g.
L+Up x10
L+Right x30
L+Down x50
L+Left x99

It would be convenient if possible... Only 4 combos instead of hard-coding the slot number.

thank you

You'd also want one for 5. That is certainly possible, but I don't think we've found the data for current slot yet (also it would not be a good idea to change the slot you're hovering over with a button that changes which slot you're hovering over.

True, but on 2 monitors at 4k. Its just want you want really, to each they own.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
For a kids aspect Anbernic would be the better option they'd probably melt over the price on a good 4k display

For that texasroo guy, I'd recommend the Spell and speak as his first system.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
So they buy a pi5 kit for about $150 and say a 28" 4k display probably looking around $400 total
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They'll be getting in the territory of portable Pcs anyway
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They could use HD out on their TV no real need for a monitor these days tbh the purists will disagree
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'm kind of phasing out on the need for wanting all these consoles cool to have but they just become dust build ups
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    ack my throat
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I need to invest in some storage totes tbh
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Tots?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Tootles
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Tootles? Wtf
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Oh tootles
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Oh totes , lol, like Tupperware storage, I gotcha
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Gonna check out the new Garfield looks like garbage
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Can't wait to see the new "stick" that can actually play Ps3 or 360 games. I know they are getting close.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty didn't you see the new garfield?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
