I kinda want to get a pc engine. Only cause there is a attachment that does everything that a pc engine and turbo graphics has to offer and does RGB. I hear there old and the caps tend to start to leek damaging the boards that is why I want a recaped one.
Better if I get to buy the console already recaped and refurbished then sending it in and having to pay so much shipping. I don't even have a pc engine yet that is why. I may as well get a recaped genesis to replace my old one even thou it seems ok.
I know gametech does it but there not taking in any new orders in.
I just don't have the skill or tools to do it myself.

Maybe not but anybody that repairs electronics around you will. Most of these old consoles are simple through hole components -- none of this modern BGA stuff which requires specialist big boy tools and skills. Any monkey with a soldering iron should be able to sort through hole cap replacement. Don't worry about buying in sets of replacement caps -- they are just things put together by people with access to https://www.digikey.com/ and 5 minutes to sort them into a new bag. Most electronics repair shops will stock a range of caps such that they can just pluck them from the shelf. Take along your megadrive at the same time if you want.

I tend not to see cap leaking bothering the board, leaking coin cells like you also find in a lot of these sort of devices on the other hand causes no end of traumas. That said if the electrolyte in PCE/TG16s would be one of those then so be it.
