Hardware Any reason to buy a Wii now?

good enough reasons to buy Wii still.

Hell, I know people who still mod original Xboxes JUST for the media+ emulation it has, the Wii's is not BETTER and easier. I imagine the Wii fetching a good amount even years from now.

Get them while they are still cheap.

With HomeBrew, it makes for a rather inexpensive wireless 480p network media player... that just happens to have decent gaming capabilities as well.

look at the library if theres at least one exclusive you would play more than once then its worth getting a Wii.

I'd say there's plenty of reasons to buy a Wii still. Emmulation + great games = win. No reason to wait a year+ for Wii 2 to come out when you could be playing great games now.

I definitely think it is still worth it.

I got my Wii at launch, and thought it was a steal then. I've seen it in the store for $120 used, and you still have another year before the Wii 2 comes out according to Nintendo.

I would just buy an external HDD and grab all the great games you missed.
