Homebrew App fails to build "__tls_end"

I am trying to build a dead homebrew app that I updated with new definitions since old API definitions were removed and when I run make I get a bunch of errors that mostly consist of things similar to this

Code: 
/opt/devkitpro/devkitA64/bin/../lib/gcc/aarch64-none-elf/13.1.0/../../../../aarch64-none-elf/bin/ld: thread.c:(.text.threadCreate+0x14): undefined reference to `__tls_end'

I'm not sure if I just have the wrong path set up as an environment variable for something or what. I've looked it up but I can't seem to find the cause of this error
