for a long time I wanted to get back some of my apps even I don't plan to always use them, the thing I don't like about iOS is if the app is no longer on your computer it won't sync from your backup, it won't even be in your purchased section if it's no longer in the App Store. I just thought about this now and was wondering if there is a possibility that certain apps may still exist on the web since back in the early days of jail breaking installous existed and I'm assuming those apps came from file sharing sites, I'm not going to ask for a web link to iOS apps but I'm finding it weird that it seems impossible for me to recover my lost apps from I think from ios5-7 days. I just want to know is there even a site that exists with older apps, do the app links from the days of installous still exist.

I'll try searching the app name with ipa in the search name and to answer what phone I'm using, it's an iPhone 4s unless me being on ios 9.3.5 will affect that. The apps should be able to install since they were originally on this phone.

if you purchased them in the app store you can go there to the tab purchased and find it by name. then you can re-download it. I did that with my Manga Rock app when in was deleted from the app store

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
