Assistance with restoring PKHeX edited save with JKSV.

I used PKHeX to edit my Pokemon Brilliant Diamond save.
I then went to restore it in JKSV but when I went to actually play it, it used my save from before the edit, how do I fix this?
I cannot find any guides that will help me.

Double check the directions for JKSV…restore uses a different button. I messed it up several times before it clicked.
