I have an Japanese New 3DS LL and it runs fine with AuReiNAND or even my German Mod Version YoAuReiNAND. Never trust people on 4chan. ;)

The answer to your Question is: No it is not trure, AuReiNAND bricks no 3DSes. The person is just telling Bullshit.
