I just saw the song "Girlfriend" on tv. Made by Avril Lavigne and I must say.. I like it. Is something wrong with me? I'm not a regular pop-listener, more like some rock and punk..

Avril used to have a rock image (well, used to at least try to have a rock image), but this song is intensely bubblegum pop, something you'd expect from Aqua or A-teens or something. Yes, it has guitars, and yes, she has a "Bratz: Rock angels" outfit, but the song may well be sung by Britney Spears. So much for genre consistency

Oh well, she's still "finding herself" (remember, she's still jailbait everywhere except for Italy), let's wait and see what she ends up as. Looking at Christina Aguilera, I'm afraid. I'm very afraid...
