Homebrew backups on NAS ?

Hello

I'd like to know if there is a way to put my backups on my NAS and use my 3ds to download them from my NAS when I want (from home), using a specifi homebrew ?

I've been out of the loop of the 3ds scene but technically you could just install it from a network source using FBI (if that's still the go-to thing)
the network location being the NAS, granted you can run a webserver or ftp server on it.
Or anything else that will point towards the NAS (mapping a drive in windows/linux to the nas location, or a raspberry pi or other device, then hosting it through that)
