Gaming best mega man games for DS / GBA?

I've been playing the NES Mega Man games on an emulator and am madly disappointed that the Mega Man X games don't work on any of the DS emulators. I totally missed out on any games after that, and considering there's like 5000 of them, I have no idea where to start. I've heard both good and bad things about ZX Advent, so I'll at least try it out, and I'll probably pick up the Rockman Zero collection when it gets released. I'm not really interested in any of the RPG stuff or whatever, just a really good, action-y Mega Man game.

Well on the GBA there's: Megaman Zero 1-4 and Megaman and Bass. On the DS there's: Megaman ZX(and ZX Advent), and try Megaman Star Force 1-3.

Rockman Zero Collection is scheduled for release in Japan 04/22/10.

if you have a SNES emulator, then try Megaman & Bass, ZX and ZXA are great too for the DS too. MMZ Collection will be cool too
