ok i got a Black 3DS and i want to keep it in good shape so i wanna put screen protectors on,but i wanna know the best way to clean the screens (any recommended cleaner or such ) and get all the dust off so i can apply the screen protectors without any dust getting stuck under it (any tips or tricks are welcome)

also if i may add to this were is the better site to buy the protectors from (im gonna get Hori ones)

play-asia , or Amazon?

I tend to clean my systems with a soft cloth and windex, allowing the screen to completely dry before attempting to apply the screen protector.

I also use the bathroom as my "clean room" preparing it by running the shower on hot for a few minutes to generate enough steam to weigh down and drop any dust particles floating about prior to applying the screen protectors. this greatly eliminates the potential from any stray dust particles getting trapped underneath

HORI and Key Factory have put together youtube videos giving visual instructions on how to apply their screen protectors to the 3DS which is pretty informative

I just use regular multi surface polish and then a regular cloth and my screens are as clean as they were when i first opened the 3ds.

I have given up on screen protectors. If you find a good way of applying them without getting annoying as hell bubbles or stupid fucking dust stuck under it then please let me know.

i have bought 3 sets now and everytime they have just been crap or my technique simply isnt up to scratch. Theyre screen protectors, the application should not be rocket science but It sure seems like that if you want a perfect finish like i strive for and never achieve!

With that said I am just using my 3ds without one, my dsi had no screen protector, bought at launch, and has literally ZERO scratches. Not even held to the light, I have kept it perfect without screen protectors.
