Im wanting to take my BoTW save from my non hacked switch and load it up so my horses transfer to ToTK. Can I do this ? If so how ? Is it just copy a save file ?

there are many ways if your unhacked switch is vulnerable. Only one way if it is not.

the Lite is not vulnerable so, you have only one option. You have to transfer the save game using Nintendo own solution, on Data menu.
Is required that your hacked switch is not banned. And do this on a clean nand.
