Somebody could try to dump gateways stage 2 payload and try to run it.
I think we would only need to copy it to the memory and jump to it to launch gateways launcher.dat, but I could also be wrong.

You can use it with the open source A9LH forks by installing it into NAND at a specific position and then jumping to it, according to @liomajor, but honestly, we should probably just wait for them to release an a9lh.bin of their own. Why should we bend over backwards for them?

I load gateway in updated sysnand mode from 9.2 cfw emunand via HBL, its a bit messy but i hardly ever use gateway specific functions and .3ds/3dz files

The reason is that if it's not included in the public package, they will release that gateway_a9lh.bin "soon" or in other words, we can wait forever.
