Hacking Captain Toad v1.2.0 DLC can't open ingame on 8.1.0

Hi,

I'm fearly new to the scene, I'm using Kosmos V13.0.2 on emummc. I've installed a couple of game NSPs and everything works fine except for Captain Toad's DLC.

I already had the game installed via cart, uninstalled it.
Using goldleaf I i nstalled:
- the base NSP (Captain Toad Treasure Tracker [01009BF0072D4000][v0])
- the 1.2.0 update to play on 8.1.0 (Captain Toad Treasure Tracker [01009BF0072D4800][v131072])
- two DLC NSPs (Captain Toad Treasure Tracker [Special Episode] [01009BF0072D5002][v0] & Captain Toad Treasure Tracker [Special Episode - Shifty Shrine] [01009BF0072D5001][v0])

I can open the game fine, I can pick up the game where I left it.
But when I choose the DLC button in the main menu (special golden button) I get an error:
Error Code: 2162-0101
An update too the downloadable content is required.
Please restart... bla bla bla

So I guess I need another DLC NSP file that is updated to work with 1.2.0?
Or is there something else I can do?

Has it ever worked? My experience from this sort of error is that the nsp you installed is bad. People don't test these, and no one reports it either. I have come across the same broken xenoblade 2 dlc nearly everywhere and finally got directed to another one that was fine

I installed the base game from from a cart I bought, and downloaded the NSPs from a "reputable" site.

yeah me too from so many links of reputable hosts. honestly, try another download
