I got two broken CECHG01 old PS3's from my brother. I believe he tried to fix the best of the two (didnt read disks) by swapping the disk trays but found out mid swap that they were not the same. After some research I found out earlier and later model lasers were different, one had one laser, the other had two lasers. I THINK, that the disk trays are back with their respective system but am not 100% sure and would like some input.
The one PS3 I would like to replace the disk tray was manufactured in 2007, has a sticker with KEM-400AAA on the tray, and the sticker on the laser reads:
