Hardware Cheap external harddrives for Wii?

Hi all.

I've picked up a handful of old second hand wii's recently and I'm learning how to mod them and turn them into emulation machines (8bit/16bit/arcade/GC/Wii)

I need to get a external hard drive to store the games on. Since I'm doing this for fun and on the cheap I want to get a cheaper storage solution as I only need around 200-300gig as I'm not going to add every GC or Wii game on and don't want to fork out $80+ for a standard 1tb HDD.

As this is my first Wii modding, I thought someone on here might have some good ideas on some cheaper storage solutions for a modded wii.

for emulation of oldest systems you can just use the SD card?

Yeah I thought about that. But I thought it might be better to have all the rom folders organized in the same place instead of spread out over two storage devices.

Thanks for that. I had a read through and there was some good stuff but they were mostly talking about a 1 tb HDD. Where as I'm looking for something smaller.
