Interesting. I thought with Pikmin 3 something was off. I have never been able to get any of the codes to work for this game on Yuzu or Ryujinx. So I assume that all codes for Pikmin 3 are heap static and asm only? Does that mean that Pikmin 3 is not cheat hackable for emulators? Thats dissapointing.

That no static heap is easy to overcome, takes like maybe a minute while making code by the author if so desired. This no ASM is the real deal breaker. Can be done, just significantly more effort but without that effort a very big percentage of ASM cheat won't work.

Most of the codes are customizable, and to find items or weapon ids look through a wiki, convert to hex and you should be good to go

Making ASM work is more laborious. No more hacking and restoring on the fly, the ASM code need to check some flag set by normal cheat code that is all. It's not difficult. Whoever wants it can do it. All the ASM hack needs to be in the master code very much sums it up.
@dsrules thanks for sharing this thing about emulator cheat engine. If you are so incline you can make a pointer to start of heap to help those people who are waiting for someone to fix it for them.
