There are many people who knows a lot more about this white helmet problem, I only see it being reported in this forum. Sounded like a talisman became a white helmet? I only know about talisman that becomes blank and those I can sell.

That's awesome because if it's possible with cheat, maybe développées of the game will add this function later in the game like the transmog in GenU. Weapon transmog hype me so much x)
I have the same problem. I’m not familiar with monster hunter. Do you unlock a greater chest at some point?
The chest autoexpand, I don't know if there is a limit but normally you have one extra empty page. i.e if you have one item, you have two pages, when your items goes to page two you have page three and etc, I guess when you hack empty item into real item you have to acquire one item the normal way to make it expand. I didn't try the equipment box, only the item box and the pouch. It is a list of pointers, empty items looks the same in data structure as real item except empty item has the empty item ID. Hack it into real item ID and it becomes a real item, the qty is next to the ID. This list expands according to the box size.

I believe you start out with the maximum amount of chest from the beginning. If you can send me the cheats or your game save, I can further explore the issue and resolve it for everyone.
Thanks for the reply. I have made a video to hopefully make things easier and clearer. As you can see, the white helmet is under the "sell equipment" and it has blank stats, can't be sold like other items, and can't be equipped. You can move it to other "sell equipment" slots. I was wondering if there was a way to override the white helmet with another item or to delete it to resolve the issues it causes. Below is the visual.

The trick for me was to go into the settings and crank up the Wiimote sensitivity to the max and it gets twitchy but you can win that way lol
