Hacking Cheats no longer work with newest firmware 4.3a

I recently upgraded to the newest firmware version 4.3a and everytime I try to use cheats on pokemon diamond and pearl they don't do anything, I haven't tested any other games as of yet. Is this a problem with the new firmware or is it just me? They were working previously, so I am assuming its the firmware. If anyone can confirm this problem any help is appreciated.

I would suggest that you downgrade or get M3 Sakura 1.35 Beta.

which codes are you using? just give a couple examples
and which cheat option did you used? Switch On. ALways On, Instant Codes or OFF

also are you sure you have the cheats.db in the system folder (default location)

okay...I tried using max cash and the master ball x999 cheats(which both worked fine in previous firmwares) I've tried all 3 options for cheat switch(always on, switch on and instant codes) and both code require tapping l+r which I tried several times. I checked the cheats.db and it's in the correct location, so if anyone can try to test this on their M3 real to confirm that this "is" a firmware problem that way we can report it to the m3 team and get it fixed with the next update. BTW I tried it on 2 different M3 cards with two different DS' and get the same thing on both.

Update: I just downgraded to firmware E39 and the codes work fine...I'm assuming their latest fix to make the cheat system recognize D4 and code properly fowled something up. we should definatly let the M3 team know about this.

You should do a fresh install of the newest firmware.

Ummmmm...no. If you didn't notice I've been putting the firmware release numbers and the actual version numbers....this is for touchpod, not sakura. E39 is 4.3 and E40 is 4.3a. The latest release for sakura is labeled 1.35. so yeah this is for Touchpod.

So everyone please test this...get the touchpod firmware version 4.3a also known as E40. test at least pokemon diamond and pearl with the codes max cash and master ball in slot 1 x999. I've tried other codes which also didn't work, but I don't remember which ones I tried.

I also have this problem too!! Cheat Codes for Pokemon Platinum and Build a lot isn't working for me too! I have the firmware 4.3a too and I have m3 ds real?? what's happening?? but some games works fine for me.....

update: code doesn't work in Sakura 1.35 and iTouch 2.5
will try a different game with same code type just to make sure

The Game works fine on 4.3a for me but just the codes don't work.

I say we report this to the M3/G6 Team since there are more than 1 person this is happening to, I'm pretty sure there's a fault in the firmware, as I've said the codes work fine in verion 4.3 E39 but not in version 4.3a E40.
