Homebrew Cheats on WiiMedafen

Hello. I was just looking at WiiMedafen the other day and wanted to see if there was a way to play with cheats (especially for TG-16 regular and CD-based games, but if I can do it for the other emulators that are included, I'm all ears). Do I need to configure cheats in any way or download specific files?
