Hacking Cheats with DIOS MIOS Booter help

Searched on google and can't really find the answers I'm looking for.


So I'm using DIOS MIOS booter by FIX94,but can't seem to get the cheats working.
I converted the AR codes to ocarina,then made them into a gct,and
put the gct in /codes on my SD (from what I've read somewhere that's where
DM booter locates the code[correct me if I'm wrong])and the cheats still don't work.
Do I need the master code? Does the gct need to be in /usb/games/gameid/?
Or is it something completely different? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

One way to get Action Replay codes for GameCube games on Wii is first visit http://us.codejunkies.com/ and find the code(s) for the game you want. Then, you must use a program called GCNcrypt to decrypt the AR code(s). Then use another program called AR to WiiRD to convert the decrypted AR code(s) to ocarina. Finally take the converted code(s) and go to http://geckocodes.org/index.php?gct= to make .gct file for the game and select the code(s) you want enabled and download and name the .gct to the same game title id then place the .gct file in a folder called "codes" and place that folder in the root of your sd card then use a game loader with the ocarina/cheats settings enabled. If you need to find the game tittle id search for the game at www.gametdb.com and make sure its the correct region. Also, try putting the .gct file in the same folder as the game.iso. Not all codes work when converting them.

This was like 10 days ago so I'm not sure if I need to bump it,but whatever.


Thanks for your reply but I already did all of that(I think)

-Converted AR to Ocarina throug the only programs that can do that

-Put GCT in /sd/codes

-put Kenobii(?)gc and wii.bin in [insert forgotten folder name]

-put GCT in the same folder my GC game was in (named Gameid)

-Booted DIOSMIOS booter by FIX94
My questions were

-Do I need the mastercode?
-which folder does DM booter by fix94 find the codes in
-Why is Ikaruga so damn hard(lol)
