You can't link an NNID to a banned console. You can unlink your NNID from it by injecting a clean nnidsave.bin, thus restoring the ability to use eShop, but if you want, say, Pokémon Bank - you're out of luck.
Are you though?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the ban simply recognizes your console's ID as blacklisted on the Nintendo servers. But ever since sighax/boot9strap, we've had access deep enough into the innards of the console that we should be able to simply change our ID, thus making it possible to circumvent the ban entirely.
So I am very confused as to why we don't do that. Why is there no apparent effort being done in that direction? After all this time, I almost expected tutorials to be everywhere. Has nobody in this absurdly skilled and determined community managed to figure out the secret yet? That's hard for me to believe.
Does anyone have a clue?
