Hacking Couple questions about acekards internals and unbricking

Well, in a video I just saw that the Acekard has a tsop48 chip in it, most likely to hold the firmware. I keep hearing about people bricking them and sometimes being completely unrecoverable.

Being that I am the infectus master around here, I figured "Hey, why not see if I can dump the firmware from the flash". So first off, before I go and start prying open my kids Acekards and screwing with them, could someone please tell me the numbers written on the flash chip on the inside of the acekard and I will start my research from there.

Maybe if I can screw around with this then I might be able to help come up with a way to unbrick these things when they are unrecoverable by other means.

Well, after a quick glance of the datasheet I know that I can not use the infectus to dump that flash chip. It seems to be more like NOR flash memory.

Can tell you just from the part number its a 2MB NOR chip. 160 = 16megabit

I can dump this chip if someone wants to research this or has a dead one they want to send for testing - can have it back if its revived.
