If you have any tester that you don't hear news much often you can ask me, after this evening of work day I have 2 weeks off.

Btw, will the new wiiflow update our wii if an ios is missing, same way geckoos and neogamma does ?? That would be a must aswell.

Pip'

usb loaders don't need "missing IOSes"...
all games are launched by the cIOS (249 , 222 or 223 , depending on what you set up in the loader).
So , you could have a wii with no IOS inside , games launched by a usb loader would start , as long as you have a cIOS installed.

The feature you are requesting is usefull only for games played from a DVD

EDIT : many many thanks to Spayrosam , i've injected his dol in my forwarder , and it works great with the last test version of wiiflow.
it's even faster than before , really good.
And it works for SD or USB.

this is the link to download it:

We'll most probably stop at version 10 because i like round numbers.
Hibern, you did a huge, awesome, wonderful, outstanding job with this loader....
We discussed a lot about your possible stop...
Let me say again that talent cannot be wasted.... you need a rest now... then you will realize that version 2.0 is a round number too...
All the Wii homebrew crew thanks you...

Unable to use wiiflow to run Super Mario Bro Brawl Keep getting after winning a game (An error has occurred. Press eject button and remove the disc)

runs ok with USB Loader GX as i am able to force it to run on 222
but wiiflow does not have that option to change from 249 etc (or does it have i just missed it in the settings)

Has any one else had this problem and sorted it or is it just me

Had problem at first with the dreaded 002 Error with other games but rectified this by clearing SD card and reinstalling Wii
Flow worked for some strange reason and yes the Fix 002 Error was On the 1st time. spent ages trying to sort that out when other loaders seemed to work OK. LOL

P.S I love Wiiflow as a loader

Will there be a one click option in the future to load stuff up or by clicking the cover when the option menu comes up after selecting a title. As my 9 year old has problem pointing the remote and selecting play (Keeps accidently changing screen setting or languages Just conserned one day she will delete a title by mistake).

New thread, new version.

Runs Brawl fine.

Supports selecting cios 222, 223, rev3 rev4 etc.
alt dol supported
Can quick launch from coverflow by pressing A+B together.
plays music from isos as well as ogg files.
individual setting for games
up to 8 different coverflows, fully customisable by users. inc full grids.
Multilanguage support.
Theme support.
High quality covers, downloadable via wifi direct from GUI.
USB Hardrive storage FAT32 for covers, etc.
Stunning animated GUI

Currently on a public beta to see if people can discover as many bugs as possible as quickly as possible, so Hibernatus can fix them and consider WiiFlow finished.

He is not adding any new features, other than those in the new version, which is pretty packed with everything you'd need.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
