Hey guys:

I have set up my wii with the full messie 4.2 hack guide.
I completed everthing properly(as far as I can tell).
I setup my wii hdd with these partitions:

WBFS primary & active, fat32(for things the sd card would normally house), fat32(for covers/themes etc...), and finally ntfs for the remainder of the drive.(In that order)

fat32, fat32, ntfs are primary only.

When I attempt to download the covers to the games I get an error:

Error! Can't create the Directory. Do I need to enable anything in Usb Loader GX.

I created the partitions, but, do I need to enable them somehow?? I'm not sure if its seeing the partition.

Thanks

you need a sd-card and make a folder "usb-loader" and in that one a folder "covers"
put the sd-card in the front from your Wii.

that's all

Ok, I'll do that. But there is no way to keep the folder with the covers on the wii hdd?? I did set up 2 separate fat32 partitions for that purpose.

Thanks

why would you set up 2 fat32 partitions? you can have 1 fat32 partition with everything on it

use dr clipper's configurator for configurable usb loader, and change the save paths from "SD" to "USB" (click around on the different tabs while in the program and u will see what I am talking about)

Hey recol:

That worked perfectly!!! Thanks. However, I thought I could set up the wii with my usb hdd and be able to download the covers to it directly. I was hoping to not have to use the sd card at all. Do you know if there is a way of doing this?

I've had mixed reviews on that. So partition the drive with fat32, then wbfs and then I can lose the sd card? Do both partions HAVE to be active???

Thanks for the ((((((((((((SUPERFAST))))))))))))) reply!!!!!!

I'll repartition my drive and post back to let you know how I make out.
