Recently I have tried to play the patched rom on omega and a clone gba but both after the starting cut scene on omega sound plays but no gameplay just black screen and on the clone it just freezes after the same starting scene

This game came out in Japan and then officially only in Spain (in Spanish) this patch uses the Spanish version as base to translate it to English.

On emulators say mgba the game works find but not on hardware I wonder why?

What does no$gba debug say when you try to play it? It is usually pretty good at catching errors.

I haven't tested in no$ just on mgba and hardware so I'm not sure if it throws up a issue.

The debug version is free these days and will usually tell you what is wrong when other emulators might skip over it, including mgba. Some of the tools some hackers use, especially ones I usually see tackling the anime based games, have some flaws that many emulators overlook but hardware will not.
