Oh, I remember the original. Poorly made, pretty ugly, bad controls, pretentious AF. But twin peaks dig it for some reason.
You just mentioned all the reasons why it was so great. There's a level of incompetence that goes past the point of being insufferable where it loops back into brilliance. Bushes are rocks all day everyday, Deadly Premonition is a masterpiece of bad.

The bar and dog theme songs are very catchy songs from the original haha. I hope there will be some funny songs in this one as well, right Zack?

Good time to ask: which version of the first game is best to play? I'm vaguely familiar with some of the differences. PS3 director's cut adds some things that aren't in the Switch version. Did Swery decide those features were unnecessary and kept them out of the Switch port, or do they make good additions?

This reminds me of another franchise that took 10 years to release a sequel. Kurt Russell plays the role of Snake Pliskin in these two movies separated by 15 years. Directed by John Carpenter, you remember what they were, Zach? That's right. Escape from New York and Escape from LA. John Carpenter also directed The Thing which was based on a film with a similar title from 1951. As fate would have it, a prequel to John Carpenter's 1982 version of The Thing would be released in 2011. Do you see it, Zach? 30 years in between each movie. Life is full of little surprises isn't it?
