Okay, so I bought this xbox 360 with a crapton of games. I thought I was getting a good deal, but I got set up with a whopper.

Pretty much every one of these discs are scratched to the point that they won't play in the 360 (it's not the drive, I have a copy of Black Ops that works just fine.)

So I have about 14 games, and they all need to be buffed. I know there are cheaper alternatives than Gamestop. I found this place online (http://www.wefixcds.com/pricing.cfm?mode=pricing), and thats the cheapest i have seen. Is there any cheaper? Or is there a service that won't charge me for return shipping?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm not too sure how well it works for 360 discs as I have not had to use it on them but what about one of those game doctor buffers you can buy? I think they only cost like 20$. How bad are the scratches? Light or was someone playing frisbee with those suckers?

If it's just light scratches then toothpaste is the way forward

If they're abit O.o then buy yourself a buffer, it'll benefit you more in the longer run.

Someone told me to use toothpaste once, It made my game look like someone rubbed sandpaper all over it.

Some of them have light scratches, most of them look like they have never seen the inside of a disc case since they were removed from it, and one looks like they tried their own buff job with a dremel.

So...I consider buying one of those disc doctors for $20...and I MIGHT get the scratches out of the disc, or I can pay $40+shipping to the site mentioned previously, and be sure that the scratches come out...I just don't know if I have the scratch for it (yes, pun intended)

So do the disc buffers at first but they come with a felt pad for finer buffing.

If the site guarantees they can get the scratches out then its a no brainer. Honestly tho they are probably paying some china man 10 cents to do what you could do your self.

I wouldn't even bother with them there is no guarantee at all. I'd take the chance with the 20$ buffer.
