i tried using the registry fix but it doesnt work even though it used toDebug Build 28 won't pull images/box art/etc. on Windows 11. Tried to do some debugging with procmon to see where it is actually failing as well as enabling/disabling various TLS/SSL versions and couldn't find a working combo, I also couldn't actually find the failure in procmon or event viewer/etc. I'm curious for those it is running fine for, what version and build of Windows are you? I'm on Windows 11 21H2. Is there a way to get it to output a debug log? Short of that, what is the best way to get it into a debugger (since it is a debug build)? All my debugging experience is on Linux (but pretty box art is worth figuring out windows stuff )
Apparently, NSUI pulls images from https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails, but that project no longer exists or is down for some reason. I found https://thumbnails.libretro.com/ with everything dated as 6/1/22. It's possible that https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails was intentionally taken down shortly after the libretro.com page went up. NSUI was downloading images very recently but now cannot. If this is the issue, the old fix will no longer work.June of 2022 - and we still can't download titles/images using NSUI?? - any hope for this being fixed? The earlier posted .reg/tool fixes for this are not working. (I'm using Windows 10)
i could probably do some hosts file stuffApparently, NSUI pulls images from https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails, but that project no longer exists or is down for some reason. I don't think NSUI is open source, but does anybody have any idea how to make NSUI pull from https://thumbnails.libretro.com/ instead of the old site?
https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails is back up, so NSUI is working fine for me again.i could probably do some hosts file stuff
Did you ever find a solution? I have the same problemThis is a fantastic program! The only small issue I have is some of my GBC games have distorted sound (the pikachu voice clips in Pokémon yellow, and other “realistic” sound effects in some games)
Any idea if it’s fixable?
