Do I need to flash Spacecraft-NX on SX Core to update SysNAND?

I've been using the latest firmware for SX Core chip, along with Atmosphere. My SysNAND is untouched since the day I bought it (Summer 2020).

If I boot into SysNAND and update it, will anything go wrong in terms of being able to boot into CFW? Asking because I might want to play a couple (legit) games online on SysNAND.

No, everything will be fine as long as you have updated Atmosphere, sigpatches and Hekate accordingly, before updating the sysnand.

Firmware, or software, cannot affect hardware such as the modchip.
