Gaming Do you think Dai Gyakuten Saiban should be localized? In which way?

Dai Gyakuten Saiban, the next game in the Ace Attorney series, is set in Japan, just like the other games. When it was localized and translated, they changed the original locations in the game from Tokyo to Los Angeles. Of course, this should happen in this game too Not this time. Dai Gyakuten Saiban takes place in Meiji Japan ( around 1868 to 1912), and have a very large japanese accent to it, rendering the localization teams in pieces.

The smartest outcome of this should be that Phoenix Wright had Japanese origins, which is totally possible. Still, we should be worried about the names if this happen.

Or, we could just say

ancient japanese festival taking place in modern day L.A.

WW2 happened in 1936, Meiji takes place in 1868 to 1912.
