Dolphin - Wiimote emulation with VR controllers?

I dunno if this is the place to ask about wii emulators (not emulators for wii, wii emulators for pc) but eh.. redirect me to the right place if not.
I have an HTC vive, and i think it should be possible to map a controller to a wiimote somehow, so i can emulate more accurately wii games. I'm missing out on a bigass library of games because i don't have a reliable and comfortable way to emulate the wiimotes on PC and i figured what i already own should help somehow.

Any ideas/homebrew i should know of?
if there isn't any... any other way to emulate a wiimote that actually feels like playing with a wiimote?
