Hey, I would like to know if there is a way to launch the original DSi menu on the 3DS, or doing it directly from TWiLight Menu++. I always wanted to experience the DSi, but never got one...

TWiLight Menu++ is designed to look like the real DSi menu, and I think it does a pretty good job.
However, as far as booting the 100% real DSi menu, that hasn't been done, yet. Good project idea for someone with skill.
